Replacement of Guide Rail on Newport Road CR 115, 128 & 154 The guide rail replacement on Newport Road will consist of the removal and disposal of approximately 3475 linear feet of cable guide rail from 12 locations along 4.8 miles of Newport Road. It will also include the removal and delivery of approximately 324 linear feet of box beam guide rail from two locations on Newport Road, this box beam guide rail (including posts and hardware) is to be delivered to the County garage at 313 Third Ave, Herkimer, NY 13350. The removed guide rail will be replaced with approximately 4608 linear feet of box beam guide rail at 14 locations along 4.8 miles of Newport Rd. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Contract term: 2025 Location: CRS 115, 125 & 154 in the Towns of Newport & Schuyler Herkimer County NY The Contractor shall take no advantage of any error or omission in Plans or Specifications furnished by the Owner or by himself. He shall check all plans and specifications and shall promptly notify the Engineer of any errors, omissions, or discrepancies he may discover. The Engineer shall make the corrections and interpretations necessary for the fulfillment of the intent of the documents and his decision shall be final
