City of Lock Haven will receive bids for the LOCK HAVEN GREEN LIGHT-GO TRAFFIC SIGNAL UPGRADE project at the following intersection: * Bellefonte Avenue (SR 0150) and Second Avenue/Barton Street A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of the City of Lock Haven, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. All bids must be submitted on a lump sum basis. The City of Lock Haven reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and submit proof thereof with their bid. Bidder shall comply with all state and federal laws prohibiting discrimination in hiring or employment opportunities. Pennsylvania prevailing minimum wage rates will apply. Bids may be held by the City of Lock Haven for a period not to exceed forty five (45) days from the date of opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders prior to awarding the Contract.
