Sunset Pines Subdivision Drainage and Roadway Improvements - Phase 3A The project consists of drainage and roadway improvements including storm sewer, inlets and pipe, profile milling, variable-width and depth overlay paving, pavement removal and re-construction, curbing, channel grading and rip-rap and all required appurtenances. A certified check or Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid, will be submitted with each bid. The Bidder will include a Non-Collusion Affidavit with the bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to execute the Agreement and to furnish and pay for performance and payment bonds, each of said bonds to be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, all in the respective forms provided in the Bidding Documents. The Contractor also will be required to furnish evidence of insurance coverage as required by the Bidding Documents. Notice is given that not less than the minimum wage rates set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid to employees on this project. The Successful Bidder will be required to comply with Prevailing Minimum Wages in accordance with the PA Department of Labor & Industry Prevailing Wage Determination. Bids may be held by the OWNER for up to 60 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts. The Contractor is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act of 1978, P.L. 6, as amended. The Act and amendments require that the Contractor use or furnish only steel products (as defined in the Act and amendments) which have been produced in the United States.
