Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rocky Hill, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

For: Roadway Improvements Project on Princeton Avenue Section 1 The work will be funded by the New Jersey Department of Transportation Trust Fund. The major construction items include: Base Princeton Avenue: 1,800 s.y. Roadway Milling 0"-2"; 220 tons of HMA 9.SM-64 surface course 2" thick; 100 s.y. of HMA 19M-64 base repair 5" thick, 150 s.y. reinforced concrete sidewalk 4" thick, 300 l.f. concrete curb; 2 unit's inlet repair Type B; 500 s.y. topsoil restoration and other lawn restoration and incidental items. The Borough shall reserve the right to award the Base Bid, Base Bid plus Alternate Bid or to reject all bids in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law. During the bid opening process, the bidders will be announced as well as the bid amounts. A bid review providing unit prices will not take p lace at the openings. Instead, this information will be posted on the Borough's website once available. Specifications and forms of bids for the proposed work, prepared by Robert Martucci, P.E., Borough of Rocky Hill Engineer, of the firm of Martucci Engineering, LLC, have been filed in the office of said Engineer at 49 E. Main St., Flemington, New Jersey 08822 (908) 483-5415 and may be inspected by prospective bidders Monday Wednesday and Thursday 9am to 3pm. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms in the manner designated therein, and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in scaled envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Borough Engineer's Office 49 East Main Street Flemington, NJ 08822 and must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, providing said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall not be less than $500.00, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. Bidders are required to conform to all provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, the Prevailing Wage Act and the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127. The Borough of Rocky Hill Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid inuring to the benefit of the Borough of Rocky Hill.
