Question Deadline 11/06/2025- No oral interpretation will be given to any bidder as to the meaning of the plans, specifications, or other contract documents. Any request for such interpretation shall be made in writing, addressed to the Engineer, and to be given consideration, must be received at least ten (10) business days prior to the day fixed for the opening of bids. The major construction items include approximately 297 units 5/8" x _" water meter replacement (Borough Supplied Meters); 297 units install/replace meter radio transceiver units (Borough Supplied Radio Transceiver Units); 297 units install/replace meter touch pads (Borough Supplied Meter Touch Pads), and other incidental work appurtenant thereto. The Borough shall reserve the right to award the Base Bid, or to reject all bids in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law. additional bid open note: A bid review providing unit prices will not take place at the openings. Instead, this information will be posted on the Borough's website once available. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms in the manner designated therein, and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Borough Engineer's Office 49 East Main Street Flemington, NJ 08822 and must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, providing said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall not be less than $500.00, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. Bidders are required to conform to all provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, the Prevailing Wage Act and the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127.
