A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work will be funded by the New Jersey Department of Transportation Trust Fund. The major construction items include: Base Crescent Avenue: 2,100 s.y. HMA Milling 3" or less; 250 tons of HMA 9.5M-64 surface course 2" thick; 500 s.y. of HMA 19M-64 base repair 5" thick, 2 units Reconstructed Manhole New Casting; 6 units Reconstructed Type B Inlets New Casting; 500 linear feet 9"x18" concrete curb; 300 square yards Concrete Sidewalk 4"; Topsoil restoration and other lawn restoration and incidental items. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms in the manner designated therein, and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Borough Engineer's Office 49 East Main Street Flemington, NJ 08822 and must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, providing said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall not be less than $500.00, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. Event Bid opening Description: A bid review providing unit prices will not take place at the openings. Instead, this information will be posted on the Borough's website once available. Doc note: The Borough of Rocky Hill Engineer upon proper one-day advance notice will furnish bidders with a copy of the drawings and Specifications. Payment for the cost of preparation in the amount of $50.00 (plus postage if mailed), which is non-refundable, is required at the time of purchase. The Borough shall reserve the right to award the Base Bid, or to reject all bids in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law. Bidders are required to conform to all provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, the Prevailing Wage Act and the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127.
