FY23 HUD-ICDBG Project (Award #23GC4015800) WATER FEASIBILITY STUDY Project Location: Fox Run Meadow Subdivision, Newkirk, OK 74647 The Kaw Housing Authority is accepting proposals for a subdivision water and sewer system assessment, including the following: WATER SYSTEM ASSESSMENT: Water evaluation of the City of Newkirk, OK to determine existing water capacity and distribution needs to serve Fox Run Meadows Water evaluation and feasibility of the Rural Water District immediately to the north of Fox Run Meadows (which is all trust land) to determine existing water capacity and distribution needs to serve Fox Run Meadows Water Demand Calculations for an 80-acre subdivision layout Water Supply recommendations for a standpipe (height, diameter, gallons), water treatment, booster pumps or additional supply Coordinate and oversee the drilling of a test well to determine existing water quantity and quality under Fox Run Meadows Subdivision Compile a Summary Report containing existing water capacity, proposed demands, and recommended actions SEWER SYSTEM ASSESSMENT: Wastewater evaluation of the City of Newkirk, OK to determine existing sewer system capacity, flow rates, and treatment capabilities to serve Fox Run Meadows Calculations for an 80-acre subdivision and its expected increase in wastewater Layout and feasibility of connecting to the existing Newkirk sewer system Recommendations on solutions such as lift stations or other infrastructure for increases wastewater Compile a Summary Report containing existing sewer capacity, anticipated increased of a built out 80-acre subdivision and recommendation improvements ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENTS AS NEEDED: Platting the subdivision (Plat does not have to be filed. Do not have to follow city regulations or building codes. This construction project will not be permitted through the city.) Stormwater Prevention Plan (SWPP) preparation Stormwater detention or retention pond civil engineering and estimating Estimating infrastructure construction costs and timelines Roads design, specifications, and estimating Please include your qualifications, pricing, and timeline for completion. This planning is part of a federally funded grant by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Indian Community Development Block Grant (ICDBG).
