Site work, renovation and addition to a medical facility in Olds, Alberta. Design plans call for site work for a medical facility; for the addition of a medical facility; and for the renovation of a medical facility.
Olds Hospital And Care Centre Alberta Surgical Initiative (Project ID/WBS No. : P-005948). Scope of work consists of a new building addition, approx.. 550-600 BGSM to accommodate a 9-station Renal Dialysis Department. . Scope of the Surgical Department expansion is based on the area of the existing Pharmacy, including the Night Cupboard Room and the existing Renal Dialysis Department (i.e., Rooms 312, 310, 309, 309A, 324 and 32A, and 313 (Washroom). The relocation and accommodation of Pharmacy is also required within a portion of the existing space of Renal Dialysis. This relocation is to allow for the expansion of the Surgical Department. Other work to include expansion and renovation of the existing Client Laundry Room to accommodate the requirements of the MDRD program. This expansion into the laundry room is considered Phase 2 of the redevelopment of the MDRD. TIMELINE: Design is underway. Engineering consultants have not been released for publication. Method of delivery will be Construction Management; tendering process is expected in the third quarter of 2026.
