Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rossburn, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Complete a sidewalk repair for a stretch of sidewalk approximately 330 feet (100 m) located on Main Street North in the town of Rossburn. The sidewalk is brick and needs to be raised to the level of the curbs which border it on both sides to prevent water from sitting on the sidewalk. It is in front of the Lions Manor located at 71 Main St. N. There is also a small section on the south side of the sidewalk that is to be raised to meet the curb to prevent water retention (approximately 2 feet by 25 ft long or .60m by 7.5m) beside the Library entrance. Remove existing brick sidewalk, clean and replace broken or cracked bricks. Add fill to the base so that when the bricks are back in place the height of the bricks is at or slightly above the height of the curbs located on either side of the sidewalk to allow for water drainage. 2. Remove existing bricks from the south side approximately 2 feet from curb. Clean and replace broken or cracked bricks.
