Reference Number 0000282430 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/11/29 05:00:00 PM CST Bid Intent Deadline 2024/11/27 05:00:00 PM CST Rossburn Municipality is accepting a sealed 1-year tender for the crushing, loading and spreading of gravel from a designated gravel pit to designated roads at specific gravel quantities per mile in 2 separate zones. Tenders will be accepted in whole or in part. The work to be done under this contract shall consist of the stripping and crushing of gravel at the gravel pit located at SE 11-20-23W (Crown Pit), then the loading, hauling and spreading on designated municipal roads. The work could consist of the stripping and crushing of gravel at an alternative pit, the Contractor will be required to submit in writing a request to use an alternative pit and provide proof of material quality. This special request would require approval of the Council by resolution. The Contractor agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Municipality from all claims of every nature and kind which may be made or brought against the Municipality by reason of the Contractor carrying out the terms of the contract. The Contractor shall, at no cost to the Municipality, adequately insure all vehicles used and required to perform the work. The Contractor is required to obtain Comprehensive General Public Liability coverage with limits not less than $2,000,000.00 per occurrence or incident. The policy must name the Rossburn Municipality as an additional insured in respect of all matters associated with the contract and will protect the Municipality in respect of any and all claims arising directly or indirectly as a result of the contract. Coverage must include bodily injury, death and property damage, including loss of use thereof and shall not have a deductible that exceeds $500.00. Prior to the Contractor beginning work for the Municipality, a Certificate of Insurance must be provided to the Municipality.
