All projects will be bid as one package under one contract, with plans for each project and one overall spec book. The award will be made to the lowest Contract Total (total cost of both projects). The anticipated start date, weather permitting, is April 7, 2025 and substantially completed by December 12, 2025 with final completion by December 30, 2025. The proposed Allen Road Water Main Replacement project consists of approximately 4,350 linear feet of 12" water main and 5,050 linear feet of 16" water main to replace existing water mains along Allen Road between Outer Drive and Greenfield Road, within the City of Melvindale The proposed Flora Street Water Main Replacement project consists of approximately 2,070 linear feet of 8" water main to replace existing water mains along Flora Street between Rose Street and Oakwood Boulevard, within the City of Melvindale.
