** As of December 23,2024 , project was awarded to Clayton Construction but awarded amount is not available.** Renovation of facility into a Revolutionary War Discovery Center The Project Scope Outlined in This Set of Documents Includes a Renovation to an Approximately 5,200sf Existing Historic Building Located in Gaffney, Sc. This Building Was Constructed in 1913-1914 and is the First Public Library for The City of Gaffney. It is One of Fourteen Public Libraries Built in South Carolina With Funding From the Carnegie Foundation. The Building Will Receive Accessible Restroom Facilities, Egress Stairs, and an Ada Lift. The Program Will Consist of a Revolutionary War Interactive Experience Set Inside of the Historic Structure. The Scope of Work Will Include the Coordination of Audio/visual Systems in Correlation to Electrical and Mechanical Work. Structural Reinforcement And Repair Will Take Place Where Required.
