Description: The City of Sebring is soliciting an invitation to bid for the demolition of the city's water tower and associated work. The BIDS shall be based on providing all materials, equipment, and labor for the demolition of the City of Sebring Water Tower Demolition Project. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the demolition and removal of an existing 170 foot tall elevated potable steel water storage tank for the City of Sebring. Each BID shall be submitted in TRIPLICATE (ONE ORIGINAL & ONE HARD COPY & ONE DIGITAL COPY). PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT SURETY BONDS equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required within ten (10) days after written notice of the AWARD OF CONTRACT. All technical questions shall be in writing at least 5 work days prior to the bid opening and should be directed to Greg Giarratana via email gregg@craigasmith.com. All questions will be answered in the form of an addendum to the bid. No bidder may withdraw his BID for a period of ninety (90) days after date set for opening of the BIDS. The City of Sebring reserves the right to: waive informalities in any BID, delete any portion of the project; extend the project within the limits of the work involved. The Owner has the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
