OD Pump Station and Pipeline Project The work includes: The of construction of a pre-cast concrete intake structure and pump sump, placement of two pump units, manifold, relocation of existing VFD panels and electrical wiring; installation of approximately 7,800 feet of 30" PVC pipe and approximately 900 feet of 18" PVC pipe, installation of a pre-cast concrete control box and outlet structure, and miscellaneous other appurtenances. The bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid and made payable to Panoche Drainage District. The certified check or bidder's bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract, if awarded a contract, and will be declared forfeited if the bidder refuses or neglects to enter into said contract within 10 days after being requested to do so. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and a labor and materials bond in an amount equal to fifty percent (100%) of the contract price, said bonds to be secured from a financially responsible surety company, satisfactory to the District, authorized to do business in the State of California. Bidding contractors must hold a current Class A contractor's license valid in the state of California.
