The project will require that the provider of irrigation services to furnish, deliver, install and manage surface pipe, sprinkler pipe, and diesel pump(s) and labor as necessary to irrigate freshly planted jose tall wheatgrass for a minimum of one irrigation after planting (note that two irrigations are expected). The District will provide water from one of three wells in the vicinity of the fields and the necessary surface pipe to deliver water from the well to the irrigation system booster pump. The District will also provide the diesel for the booster pump. The fields to be irrigated are shown on Figure 2 and include fields: 4- 1; 236 ac 4-5; 130ac 5-3; 336 ac 32-2; 299 ac 6-1; 237 ac 31-3; 334 ac The work will be completed in coordination with other projects in-progress on the site and the District will work with the Provider to schedule the work and prioritize fields to be planted. The District reserves the right to split the work among multiple contractors in order to ensure completion. The Provided shall complete and submit the proposal form attached to this RFP by the date indicated. The Proposal shall include a cost per acre for all irrigation services as a combined unit as well as the minimum and maximum acreage that could be irrigated with the Providers available equipment. Providers are encouraged to contact the Palmer McCoy at Grassland Basin Authority (palmer@gabuthority.com) to schedule a site visit prior submitting a proposal. The District reserves the right to reject all bids or split the work among the bidders in order to ensure timely completion of the work. The rates specified below will be used to evaluate the Provider's cost proposal. The rates will be incorporated into the contract between the District and the successful Provider.Task Rate Irrigation services, including surface pipe, sprinkler pipe, booter pump, and labor. Provider agrees that the above rates are binding on Provider for a period of at least 12 months, and hereby offers, for the rates stated above, to furnish all labor, equipment (including for health, safety, and sanitation), tools, materials and supplies necessary to complete all work in a professional, thorough, and timely manner, in accordance with industry accepted standards and specifications, and state and federal law (including California Prevailing Wage requirements), and in accordance with all the provisions of the Request for Proposals, including all attachments, to the satisfaction of the District. The Provider also agrees to enter into contract for the Services if the District accepts this Proposal.
