Westside Conveyance Project - Pump Station & Pipelines The work includes: Construction of a pump station and two control boxes including approximately 157 cubic yards of reinforced concrete, manifolds, metal trash racks and grating, and canal gates. Pumping units are supplied under a separate contract. Construction of a 36" rubber gasket reinforced concrete pipeline (6,350 linear feet), a 12" irrigation pipeline with alfalfa valve turnouts (6,230 linear feet), 18" PVC Pipelines (2730 linear feet), 18" irrigation pipeline with alfalfa valve turnouts (10,488 linear feet) and a 15" irrigation pipeline with alfalfa valve turnouts (2,680 linear feet). Installation of an electrical control and storage building, electrical equipment and motor control centers, and electrical wiring. Miscellaneous other appurtenances as indicated on the drawings. The bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid and made payable to Panoche Drainage District. The certified check or bidder's bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract, if awarded a contract, and will be declared forfeited if the bidder refuses or neglects to enter into said contract within 10 days after being requested to do so. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and a labor and materials bond in an amount equal to fifty percent (100%) of the contract price, said bonds to be secured from a financially responsible surety company, satisfactory to the District, authorized to do business in the State of California. Bidding contractors must hold a current Class A contractor's license valid in the state of California.
