Project Description: Improvements for this project will generally include the installation of structural shotcrete on the exposed piers of the retaining wall, backfill and grading to restore the slope, the installation of anchored wire mesh to reinforce the slope, drainage systems, erosion control and seeding/site restoration. Staff has evaluated this project and found it to be in conformance with the Department's multi-modal policy. This project is planned to be bid and constructed as a single project; however, the work that will occur on private property will be tracked separately. The Engineer's estimate for this project is $330,000. Bids are required for the entire work described herein. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class "A" License at time of bid submit A Bid Bond, cash, certified check, or cashier's check, in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the County of Marin shall accompany the Proposal.
