Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mill Valley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The proposed scope of work includes the development of two new sand volleyball courts at the north end of Bayfront Park in an undeveloped area next to the bike and pedestrian paths and existing sports fields. The development of the new sand volleyball court area includes but is not limited to demolition and excavation, removal of materials to an offsite location designated by the Mill Valley Department of Public Works, grading, installation of concrete in various locations, importing materials, constructing perimeter fencing, and installing furnishings including but not limited to court lines and anchors, support poles, nets, and net antennae The project is located at the northern end of Bayfront Park, adjacent to the bike and pedestrian roundabout on the Mill Valley - Sausalito path in the City of Mill Valley. Project is to be completed within Thirty-Five (35) consecutive working days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed for the base bid. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the City of Mill Valley shall accompany the Proposal. Award of contract, if awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with prescribed requirements, and will be within thirty (30) days after receipt of proposals. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class "A" License at the time contract is awarded. Bids are required for the entire scope of work described herein. This contract is subject to state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code, Section 12990.
