The improvement consists of: This Contract provides for the improvement of the 12th Street and Finnegan Way Corridor with a flashing crosswalk at 12th/McKenzie between Chuckanut Square senior housing and the Haggen grocery store, a full traffic signal at 12th/Mill/Finnegan, 335 LF of sidewalk along west side of Finnegan Way, and a flashing crosswalk at 11th/Finnegan Way and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications All proposals must be on the Bid Proposal form provided by the City of Bellingham and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, cash, money order or bid bond payable to the Finance Director in an amount equal to or exceeding five percent (5%) of the total bid. Price Range: $1,200,000 - $1,400,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The right is reserved to postpone making the award for a reasonable length of time, to reject any and all bids, or to waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights Question Deadline 11/18/2024 at 4:00 PM PT Bidders are requested to review the Bid Documents carefully, without delay, for defects and questionable or objectionable matter. Questions, objections or comments regarding the Bid Documents or bid process should be made in writing and received by the issuing office no later than five (5) business days' prior to bid opening so that any necessary addenda may be published and distributed to bidders prior to the bid submission deadline; provided that the City may in its sole discretion respond to questions submitted after that deadline.
