THE PROJECT 2.01 The Project, of which the Work under the Contract Documents is a part, is generally described as follows: A. Furnish and install approximately 1,050 LF of 8-inch ductile iron water main connecting Macha Lane and Palladino Lane B. Furnish and install approximately 400 LF of 10-inch high-density polyethylene (HDPE) water main that goes underneath the Wynantskill Creek via one horizontal direction drill (HDD). C. Furnish and install approximately 1,425 LF of 12-inch ductile iron water main connecting Districts 13 and 14 along Pershing Avenue. D. Furnish and install one pressure reducing valve vault. E. Furnish and install six hydrant assemblies. F. Furnish and install eight gate valves
