Reference Number 0000357677 Purchase Type: One Time Only- Delivery Date:09/05/2025 Question Deadline 11/27/2024 at 5:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online yes The Town is seeking proposals from qualified design firms engaged in providing architectural and engineering design services for a new Public Works Operations Facility (PWOF) to be located at 510 GCR 72. The work will include Pre-Design programming confirmation, site characterization/investigations, and Schematic Design including architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. Past facility programming suggests approximately 27,000 sf covered operations space of which a third is cold storage. It is the intent of the Town to contract with the selected firm under a not-to-exceed fee for professional services agreement. Contract deliverables, including approximately 30% schematic design documents package will be used to solicit an RFP for full design and construction through a Construction Manager at Risk delivery method. Project Description: The existing PWOF is located at 105-153 Fraser Ave., Faser, CO 80442. The proposed new PWOF will include: 1. A new facility to house a vehicle maintenance shop 2. Have space and technological flexibility 3. Allowances for future growth in both personnel and equipment 4. Adequate training/conference room space 5. Environmental responsibility a. EV Charging stations for future fleet vehicles b. Roof systems designed for solar c. Possible recycled oil heating system 6. Civil Plans will require roadway design from John's Drive to the point of curvature at the south end of the parcel. The road will need to be cut down and drainage redesigned at Union Pacific railroad underpass. 7. Customer friendly reception area with security (badged access) The services will include all architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, geotechnical, survey, drainage, and traffic engineering. The design is to be developed in conformance with existing Town development standards, requirements, and within the design guidelines of the Grand Park development.
