Demolition, site work and new construction of a parking garage in Bloomington, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a parking garage; for the construction of a parking garage; and for site work for a parking garage.
The City of Bloomington (the City) is seeking proposals from qualified individuals, partnerships, consulting firms, and corporations having specific experience in the area(s) of construction management agency (CMA) service, including construction contracts, construction plans, estimating, and specifications for the construction of a maintenance garage, salt shed, and fuel island. This will include the deconstruction and demolition of two existing buildings located at 1750 and 1800 West 96th Street, Bloomington, Minnesota, respectively Question Deadline: Thu Nov 28, 2024 5:00 PM (CST) The City of Bloomington (Owner) has completed schematic design in collaboration with JLG Architects. The proposed building is approximately 36,500 square feet. This project will also include construction of a new salt and brine making building, and a new fuel island. The CMA will work closely with the City and Architect/Engineers to validate the feasibility ofthe project. It is expected that the total project costs, including constructions costs, soft costs, and owner costs, will not exceed $26,442,174. The tentative schedule is to complete construction documents in April 2025 with occupancy in September 2026.
