Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a library; for the construction of a library; for the renovation of a library; for site work for a library; and for asbestos abatement for a library.

Alterations required to provide HVAC upgrades / replacement of the existing two-pipe HVAC system and equipment including providing a new building management system, associated demolition and hazardous materials abatement, replacements of existing ceiling systems, and replacement of existing delaminating fire proofing. The project will be constructed under coordinated, concurrent multiple contracts including HVAC, General, and Electrical Construction Contract Work. Each bidder must include with his bid, a certified check or bid bond, payable to the order of the City of Niagara Falls, in the amount of not less than FIVE (5) PERCENT of the price bid, subject to the conditions in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and labor and material payment bond, in form and substance, and with sureties approved by the City Corporation Counsel, in the amount of not less than ONE HUNDRED (100) PERCENTUM of the total amount of the accepted proposal. Contractor is required to complete the Insurance Information Form, Performance and Payment Bond Information Form, and other documentation specified in the Instructions to Bidders, when submitting a proposal.
