Site work for a mixed-use development in Floyd, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
As of December 5, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on December 10, 2024. Floyd County Board of Supervisors is accepting bids for the replacement of 354 feet + or - sewer pipe, 3 and 4 inches at the County Recreation Park. This includes the relocation of a 3-inch back flow, 154 feet + or - 3-inch PVC pipe and 200 feet of 4 - inch PVC, with a minimum of 4 clean outs, with concrete pads of 6 inches deep, 16" x 16". Clean outs shall be Y, so pipe can be cleaned from two directions. Two tie-ins are required, one 3-inch line coming from the restroom from the playground north of the replacement sewer line, and the 2nd from the public restrooms on the side of Park Dr SW. On-site visits are welcome. Please contact Mark Bolt to arrange a meeting. Work is to be completed before Saturday, February 1, 2025.
