Renovation of an educational facility in Floyd, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work generally includes renovations to create a Community Health facility for Tri-Area Community Health within the Floyd Elementary School as described and defined in the Bid Form and on the Drawings. Work includes the interior renovation of an existing classroom to create multiple clinic and exam rooms, construction of a new restroom, addition of a secondary exit, and installation of an accessible ramp at the main entrance. A Bid Bond is required. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required regardless of contract amount. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids, and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error shall be permitted in accordance with 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contracts shall be awarded on a Lump Sum Basis plus any Additive Bid Items noted. Contractor registration is required in accordance with Section 54.1-1103, Code of Virginia. See the Invitation for Bids for additional qualification requirements.
