Site work and new construction of a residential development in Floyd, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a residential development.
The Economic Development Authority of Floyd County, Virginia (EDA) is seeking a Housing Development partner to build or place 12-15 single-family, detached, owner-occupied, quality homes on the parcel. These homes are targeted at households earning between 55% and 150% of the area median income (AMI), on donated land. This project will be conditioned on receipt of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to cover the balance of Main Construction costs, which will extend utilities, build the road, and prepare the site.
