Renovation of a municipal facility in Floyd, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,507-square-foot municipal facility.
Licensed and qualified general contractors are sought to execute turnkey construction services for the renovation of the Floyd County Government Building, located at 202 E. Main St, Floyd, VA 24091. The project consists of the renovation of 2,794 square feet of basement space and 4,713 square feet of ground floor space. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes by mail, email, or hand delivery to the specified address. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on February 26, 2026, at which time they will be opened and read. Emailed bids will also be accepted. Any bid received after the specified opening time will not be accepted. Instructions to Bidders and other contract documents are available for examination at the office of WM2A Architects in Hillsville, VA, and electronic copies will be distributed upon request. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting, which will be conducted onsite, is required. Project consists of framing, installation of new vestibule, interior finishes, MEP rework, new ceilings, and new ada ramps The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Renovation of Floyd County Government Building including demo, framing, interior finishes, exterior vestibule extension and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. .
