Site work for a water / sewer project in Palmerton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work in general will include: the installation of new water mains, new water service lines, and the re-connection of existing water services along Church Street, Franklin Avenue, and Alley M in the Borough of Palmerton. The proposed improvements will also include pavement saw cutting and excavation for the proposed waterline installation work along with pavement restoration for the areas of pavement disturbance within the project area. Work is anticipated to start in the Spring of 2025 and all work shall be completed by July 31, 2025 Bid date notes : All bids must be in a sealed envelope marked Proposed Waterline Improvements along Church Street, Franklin Avenue, & Alley M and Attention: Autumn Canfield A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Palmerton Municipal Authority or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds in the amount of not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the estimated amount. The Palmerton Municipal Authority reserves the right to reject all or any Bids or parts thereof and waive technicalities as it deems best in the interest of the Authority Question Deadline 12/05/2024
