**As of August 7, 2024, project was awarded to Bruce George Paving & Excavating, Inc., awarded amount is $84,402.94.** he Work in General Will Include: Existing Pavement Saw Cutting, Excavation and Existing Pavement Removal, the Installation of Storm Water Pipes, Inlets, and Structures (All Materials and Supplies to Be Fumished by the Borough), Followed by Roadway Preparation Work and the Installation of a Superpave Asphalt Base Course (All Materials and Supplies to Be Paid for by the Borough), Along Alley "H" and Alley "J" in the Borough of Palmerton. All Project Areas and Restoration Areas Will Be Located Within the Existing Borough Right-of-way Areas and/or Lands Owned by the Borough. All Work Shall Be Completed by September 30, 2024. A Certified Check or Bank Draft, Payable to the Order of the Borough of Palmerton or a Satisfactory Bid Bond Executed by the Bidder and an Acceptable Surety, in an Amount Equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Bid Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish and Pay for Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond or Bonds in the Amount of Not Less Than One-hundred Percent (100%) of the Estimated Amount. The Borough of Palmerton Reserves the Right to Reject All or Any Bids or Parts Thereof, and Waive Technicalities as It Deems Best in the Interest of the Borough.
