Renovation of a municipal facility in Wayland, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Project Wayland DPW Maintenance Bay Floor Resealing - Stripping, Patching, Grinding and resealing of the Wayland DPW Maintenance Bay. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the stripping, patching, grinding and resealing of the DPW Maintenance Bay (located at 66 River Road in Wayland). All work shall be performed in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws (MGL). The Contractor(s) shall be expected to grind, patch, repair, resurface and seal approximately 5200 square feet of the Wayland DPW Mechanics Bay Floor using the following information as a guide: Grind Concrete floor and aprons. Remove existing unstable quartz epoxy and any existing oil stains. Patch joints with flexible joint filler, patch concrete and repair cracks using Schonox RR Cement based rapid setting motor or equal. Supply and install a self-leveling urethane cement slurry (Sikafloor PurCem 24NA) or equal. Supply and install medium broadcasting aggregate (Sikadur 508 sand) or equal. Supply and install an LPL abrasion and UV resistant Polyaspartic Resin system (Sikafloor 510LPL) or equal
