Renovation of a municipal facility in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 100,000-square-foot municipal facility.
The City of Sheboygan is soliciting bids for the replacement of the roof at the City of Sheboygan Municipal Service Building, 2026 New Jersey Avenue, Sheboygan, WI 53081. The Project includes replacement of approximately 100,000 square feet of 30 year old Coal Tar Pitch Built Up Roofing with a new hot applied, asphalt built up roofing system. All bidders must have on file a current Bidders Proof of Responsibility form not less than 5 days preceding the bid due date. Forms are included with the bid Bidders who have previously submitted this information can check the current status by contacting the Department of Public Works at (920) 459-3440. Bidders Proofs of responsibility are valid for one year from the date of approval. Attention of bidders is also called to the fact that the successful bidder must insure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, sex, religion or national origin. All proposals received become the property of The City of Sheboygan and must remain in effect not less than sixty (60) days beyond the proposal submission deadline. Proposals submitted may be withdrawn up and until the proposal deadline. The City of Sheboygan reserves the right to reject any proposals received, cancel this solicitation, waive any informality associated with the proposal process and award the contract deemed to be in the best interest of The City of Sheboygan. Proposers are to raise any questions they have about the RFB document without delay. Direct all questions, in writing, to the Purchasing Agent via U.S Mail or electronic mail.
