Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in St Pete Bch, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Investigation during the Pass-a-Grille Way roadway reconstruction project revealed that approximately 60% of the soil under the sidewalk is compromised. Further investigation revealed that the seawall face is deteriorated and the base is being undermined by tidal movement. Work on this seawall was programmed for two phases. Phase 1, anticipated to be completed in FY 2025, replaces the most deteriorated areas of seawall, including areas between 7th Avenue and 10th Avenue and from 11th Avenue to 12th Avenue. Phase 2 is programmed to replace the remaining sections of old seawall with new, vinyl seawall sections. Grant funding for this project will be sought. As of November 22, 2024, this project is included in the City of St. Pete Beach's Fiscal Year 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and funding is allotted for construction in FY 2025 and FY 2027. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
