Renovation of a municipal facility in Danville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Work Location: City of Danville Over the past six months a maintenance pit located at Danville Transit's maintenance facility was filled in with concrete and a trench drain installed to support the installation of a new bus wash system. During this timeframe plumbing modifications were also completed to support the installation of the bus wash system. This procurement addresses the need to install metal liner panels near the location of the new bus wash system to protect adjacent walls from moisture. The contractor shall install the metal liner panels as identified in the bid specifications provided in this document in Section 4.0. The award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, with consideration given to completion time. Questions may be submitted in writing via email to: purchasing@danvilleva.gov until 5:00 PM on December 19, 2024. Time of Completion: All work must be completed by February 28, 2025. Liquidated Damages: $150 dollars per calendar day. The national goal for participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) is 10%. The Danville Transit System's overall goal for DBE participation is 5.3%
