Caesars Virginia property plans include a 320-room hotel and world-class casino gaming floor with almost 1,500 of the most exciting slots, 79 table games, 48 electronic table games, WSOP room, and Caesars Sportsbook. The resort will also feature a full-service spa, pool, upscale bars and lounges, and a variety of dining options. The excitement continues in the 2,500-seat live entertainment theater, and over 50,000 square feet of meeting and convention space. The Community Way Site offers opportunities for mixed-use development, versatile plaza, and park spaces, allowing the community to celebrate Schoolfield's rich history and vibrant future through events or daily leisurely activities. What might the future of the Community Way Site look like o Activate ground floor uses through mixed-use development (retail, commercial, offices) o Hospitality o Central pavilion to support community o Flexible plaza and open spaces o Affordable housing options for all ages & incomes on upper floors The Community Way Site presents a unique opportunity, strategically located within walking distance to Caesars Virginia. This prime location not only enhances the site's appeal for potential residents and visitors, but also increases its value for mixed-use development. o 2.0962 Acres o Zoned TOC Transitional Office o Urban Enterprise Zone The property is served by water, wastewater, electric, broadband, and gas and is in a designated Enterprise Zone. These designations may qualify the project for the opportunity to take advantage of any federal, state, and local grants based on qualified capital investments. In 2022, the IDA held community input sessions regarding the future of the Schoolfield District.
