Transform the existing Spring Swallow Lodge at 7065 Jimmy Carter Blvd. into a 73-unit affordable housing complex serving seniors and homeless youth aging out of foster care. As of October 2, 2025, an RFP for contractor services has been posted by the Gwinnett Housing Corporation. Construction is expected to commence in Q1 2026. All RFIs are now due by October 24th at 4pm EST. CONVERSION OF AN EXISTING HOTEL INTO APARTMENTS. LIMITED SITE WORK INCLUDES UPDATES TO PARKING AND SIDEWALKS TO MEET ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS. UNITS TO HAVE FINISH, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, AND PLUMBING UPDATES AS WELL AS MAKING 4 UNITS ADA ACCESSIBLE. HOTEL LOBBY AND BACK OF HOUSE SPACES TO BE CONVERTED TO TENANT AMENITY SPACES
