Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Aspen, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Reference Number 0000370464 The goal of the project is to improve and maintain public infrastructure in the City of Aspen Right-of-Way. This project will improve multiple areas around the City through drainage infrastructure improvements, concrete sidewalk installation, and Curb and Gutter replacement. Where needed, storm inlets will be replaced due to material degrading and drainage issues. ADA ramps will be replaced to be brought within ADA compliance. Installations will be in accordance with City standards and technical specifications. Scope of Work: General Concrete Replacement: Curb and Gutter replacement for several blocks in Aspen. Additional replacement of existing City of Aspen infrastructure in the right of way (ROW) per Engineering Standards on an as needed basis. S Spring St & E Hyman Ave ADA Improvement: This project focuses on the redesign and installation of the ADA ramp on the NW corner of this intersection. Asphalt replacement and some regrading are necessary. S Monarch St & E Durant Ave ADA Improvement: This project focuses on improving pedestrian safety on the entirety of this intersection. Concrete and asphalt replacement and some regrading are necessary. Sidewalk and ADA ramps are to be improved through the project. E Main St & S Monarch St Inlet Repair: This project will include a full remove and replace for the catch basin on the NE corner of this intersection. Permitting - Right of way and parking permits will be obtained by the City of Aspen project manager. In the case other permitting is required, all other permits will be the responsibility of the contractor. It is the Vendor's responsibility to check the website for Q&As, addendums, and other important information. The Contractor shall meet the following construction timeline: Construction in the City of Aspen right-of-way is not permitted before April 1, 2025 During peak times for traffic and community events, construction should be coordinated and approved by the project manager between June 1 - August 31, 2025 General Concrete Replacement to be completed before October 31, 2025 All other work can be completed at the discretion of the project manager with the City of Aspen Engineering Department Bonding Requirements - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date fixed for opening bids. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept what is, in its judgment, the bid which is in the City's best interest. The City further reserves the right, in the best interests of the City, to accept a late submittal or to waive any technical defects or irregularities in any and all bids submitted. The City cannot accept faxed or emailed bids.
