Qualified Contractors to bid on work consisting of site grading, pre-engineered metal building construction, reinforced concrete foundation construction, pavement installation, and obtaining required Town permits. The Face of the Envelope Shall Contain the Above Address, the Words RFQ Response, SOQ and Bid Title, Date and Time of SOQ and Bid Opening, Name and Address of the Applicant, and SOQ and Bid Number. One (1) Copy of the SOQ and Bid and One (1) Electronic Copy Shall Be Submitted in the Sealed Envelope. All SOQ and Bids Are Subject to the Conditions Specified Herein. SOQ and Bids Not Submitted With the Required Information May Be Rejected. Respondent Construction Firms Which Do Not Comply With These Conditions Are Subject to Rejection of Their SOQ and Bid by the Town. Withdrawn During the 90 Calendar Days Following Such Date and Time. Bid Bond: a Bid Bond Will Be Required With the Soq and Bid Submission. Each Construction Firm Selected as a Shortlist Finalist Will Be Required to Submit a Bid Bond Acceptable to the Town and Be in an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of Their Price Amount. Question Deadline Dec 27, 2024 Payment and Performance Bonds: a Payment and Performance Bond Will Not Be Required With the Soq and Bid Submission. The Construction Firm Awarded the Contract Must Submit a 100% Payment Bond and 100% Performance Bond That Are Acceptable to the Town and Meet the Requirements of the Contract Documents at Time of Award. Federal Funding: This Project is Not Funded by Grants From the Federal Government. Project Budget: the Towns Budget for This Project is $2,075,000.00. The Town Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids/soqs, to Waive Any and All Informalities, Irregularities and Technicalities Not Involving Price, Time or Changes in the Commodities and/or Services, and the Right to Disregard All Nonconforming, Non-responsive, Unbalanced or Conditional Proposals.
