The Project consists of replacement of 2750 LF of water mains, services, and fire hydrants. Also including the replacement of 1100 LF sewer main and service requiring paving patching as described on the plans and in the specifications. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. A bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid shall accompany each bid. Bid security must be a Bid Bond for bids greater than $150,000. All bids are to be prepared in accordance with the Bidding Documents. Responsible Wyoming bidders will be given a 5% preference. Performance and payment bonds will be required of the Successful Bidder. A bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid shall accompany each bid per W.S. 15-1-113(f). Pursuant to W.S. 16-6-106, responsible Wyoming bidders will be given a 5% preference. Performance and payment bonds (W.S. 15-1-113(d) and (f) and W.S. 16-6-112) shall be required of the Successful Bidder; refer to Instructions to Bidders, included in the Bidding Documents. Pursuant to W.S. 16-6-106, "preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state". The Town of Pinedale Shallow Waterline Replacement Project is being funded, in part or in whole, by the SRF program and that "Use of American Iron and Steel" requirements as contained in Section 436 of H.R. 3547, The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014 and as updated and revised in America's Water Infrastructure Act of 2018 (AIS) apply. The Town of Pinedale reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive all informalities.
