A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Pond Water Treatment Plant Upgrades CONTRACT NUMBER: 24-254581, PROJECT NUMBER: 14238 License required to bid the project: A or B Project comprises labor, material and services necessary for: Major components of Project Work consist of Major components of Project Work consist of improvements to the existing pond water treatment system. Removal and/or relocation of existing pond water treatment system components and site grading. New improvements include new concrete foundations, tanks, pumps, clarifier, lime slurry treatment system, electrical and lighting systems, Catwalk, and JIB Crane. Certificate of Reported Compliance (CRC) Fleet Vehicles: As a condition of Contract award, prior to Contract execution, Contractor shall submit copies of the valid CRCs for any fleet retained by the Contractor or any listed Subcontractor, for which any vehicles subject to the California Air Resources Board In-Use Off-Road Diesel Fueled Fleet Regulations, Section 2449(i), Title 12, California Code of Regulations, are used in the completion of the work included in the Contract. States estimated cost: $2,415,500.00. The term of this project is 1460 calendar days. Health and Safety Provisions: Contractor and all subcontractors shall abide by all health and safety mandates issued by federal, state, and local governments and/or public health officers as well as those issued by DGS, and worksite specific mandates. If multiple mandates exist, the Contractor and subcontractors shall abide by the most restrictive mandate. The term employee , worker , state worker or state employee in health and safety mandates includes contractor and subcontractor personnel. Costs associated with adhering to health and safety mandates are the responsibility of the Contractor. Contractor is responsible for the tracking and compliance of health and safety mandates and may be audited upon request. Successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. A. To ensure that specified products are furnished and installed in accordance with Drawings and Specifications, transmittal procedures have been established for submittals for review by the State. B. Make all following submittals in strict accord with provisions of this Section and with requirements of the General Conditions of the Contract for Construction. 1. Progress Schedule and Reports; including the Schedule of Values. 2. Product Certification. 3. Shop Drawings. 4. Descriptive Data/Material Lists. 5. Samples. 6. Substitutions. 7. Construction Waste Estimate. 8. Certification of Recycled Content. 9. Photography 10. Alteration Project Procedures A. Perform cleaning and disposal work as specified, complete. This Section forms a part of all other Sections of the specifications and shall be coordinated with such additional cleaning and disposal requirements as may be specified in other Sections. A. CONTRACTOR to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to furnish and install Catwalk and appurtenances for processing of pond water as shown on the Contract Drawings and as specified in these specifications and all other labor and materials reasonably incidental to the satisfactory completion of the work, including cleanup of the site. B. In the event of conflict between this specification and the Contract Drawings, the order of precedence shall be these specifications and then the Contract Drawings A. This section specifies general clauses applicable to the supply and installation of all process mechanical systems. B. The process mechanical systems include all of the systems handling wastewater. C. The Work under this section shall include the supply, installation, testing and start-up of all Mechanical Material and Products to provide a complete and workable installation in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications and all applicable codes, standards and ordinances. Any work and/or other necessary materials not specifically mentioned in the specifications or shown on the drawings, but necessary to complete the installation, shall be furnished by the Contractor as if specifically mentioned herein and detailed. A. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to furnish and install fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) tanks and appurtenances for processing of acid mine pond water as shown on the Drawings and as specified. B. In the event of conflict between this specification and the contract drawings, the order of precedence shall be this specification and then the contract drawings. The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor and equipment necessary to complete all work as specified herein, including but not limited to the following: 1. Apply specified treatments to all cuts and fill slopes, soil stockpiles, and all disturbed areas. 2. Install all temporary erosion control devices per Plans and Specifications. B. All other labor and materials reasonably incidental to the satisfactory completion of the work, including cleanup of the site.
