Renovation of a detention facility in Gunnison, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
DFCM Division Facilities and Construction and Managment 72120 Nonresidential building construction services including commercial and office building new construction services and construction services and renovation and repair services The SCADA upgrade project includes demolition of existing system and new installation of SCADA system including but limited too: PLCs, developing HMIs, and networking PLCs across the Henry and Administration buildings. Perimeter doors throughout the facility, currently monitored in their respective control rooms and Main Control via an existing SCADA system, will require new networked PLCs to interface with the existing relay logic controlling these doors and the emergency shutdown system. A new HMI will be installed in the Main Control room, providing a graphic display of perimeter status and the capability to initiate lockdowns of individual control rooms. The upgrade will be performed in an active detention environment with minimal downtime.
