As described in the Bidding Documents, the bids are for a public works project (Project) which consists of Traffic Control, Stormwater Pollution control and approximately 242,000 square yards of crack seal on: 1) Long Canyon Road between Bluegrass Street to Wood Ranch Parkway; 2) First Street between Pacific Avenue and Royal Avenue; 3) Los Angeles Avenue between First Street and Erringer Road; 4) Alamo Street between Tapo Canyon Road and Tapo Street; 5) Sycamore Drive between Racine Street and Los Angeles Avenue; 6) Sycamore Drive between Heywood Street and Royal Avenue; 7) Yosemite Avenue between Marr Ranch Road and Mt Sinai Drive; 8) Mt Sinai Drive between Yosemite Avenue and Ziegler Drive; and 9) Stow Street between Barnard Street and Cochran Street, and all appurtenant work. This work includes the intersections at all terminus and interior sections of road. The expected completion time of the Project is 20 Working Days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This Project requires payment of State prevailing rates of wages for Ventura County. The contractor must post copies of the prevailing schedule at each job site. Five percent (5%) will be deducted from each progress payment and retained by the City. The remainder less the amount of all previous payments will be paid to the Contractor.
