Includes, but not limited to: Provide and install the new notification system at six campuses. Install new clocks, speakers and buttons. Run new CAT 6a cable from clocks to nearest IDF. Classification * C-7 (Low Voltage Systems Contractor) Classification * C-10 (Electrical Contractor) Sites: Arroyo Elementary School, 225 Ulysses St, Simi Valley, CA 93063 Madera Elementary School, 250 Royal Ave, Simi Valley, CA 93065 Monte Vista School, 1220 Fourth St, Simi Valley, CA 93065 Wood Ranch Elementary School, 455 Circle Knoll Drive, Simi Valley, CA 93065 Simi Institute, 1880 Blackstock Avenue, Simi Valley, CA 93065 Apollo High School, 3150 School Street, Simi Valley, CA 93065 The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Work as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. The Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction and applicable regulations, and includes, but not limited to: Provide and install the new notification system at six campuses. Install new clocks, speakers and buttons. Run new CAT 6a cable from clocks to nearest IDF. Bid Security. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by Bid Security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the Bid Proposal, inclusive of the proposed price for any additive Alternate Bid Item(s). Failure of any Bid Proposal to be accompanied by Bid Security in the form and in the amount required shall render such Bid Proposal to be non-responsive and rejected by the District. Cash or Cashiers/Certified Check. If the Bidder's Bid Security is in the form of cash, cashiers/certified check, the cash proceeds or cashiers/certified check must be personally delivered or delivered by courier service with tracking and received by the District's Purchasing Department before the latest date/time for submitting Bid Proposals. Cash or Cashiers/Certified Check Bid Security received by the Purchasing Department after the latest date/time for submitting Bid Proposals will result in rejection of the Bidder's Bid Proposal for nonresponsiveness Contractors' License Classification. Bidders must possess the following classification(s) of California Contractors License at the time that the Bid Proposal is submitted and at time the Contract for the Work is awarded: C7 or C10. The Bid Proposal of a Bidder who does not possess a valid and in good standing Contractor's License in at least one of the classifications set forth above will be rejected for non-responsiveness. Pursuant to California Labor Code 1773, the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California has determined the generally prevailing rates of wages in the locality in which the Work is to be performed. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bid Proposal or in the bidding. The award of a contract for the Work, if awarded, will be by action of the District's Board of Education to the responsible Bidder submitting the lowest priced responsive Bid Proposal.
