Demolition, site work and new construction of a civil project in Plainfield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of March 13, 2025 the project has not been awarded yet. The timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Work generally consists of the installation of a new centralized chemical feed building, adjacent to the existing Well #1 building on 0 Park Ave in Plainfield, CT. Work also includes partial demolition of existing electrical, controls, and mechanical equipment within the existing Well #1 building, removal of existing yard piping, installation of new ductile iron piping, and all related work. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent of the bid. The selected contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in amount at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as stipulated in Section 00 72 00 GENERAL CONDITIONS of these specifications. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids and to reject any or all bids.
