The Town of Plainfield, is seeking to engage the services of a Consulting Engineering firm to provide engineering services for the preparation of contract plans and documents for the following transportation. The project is funded by the Transportation Alternatives (TA) Program administered by the Connecticut Department of Transportation, Federal Aid Project No. TBD. The improvements will include construction of approximately 12,500 feet of bituminous concrete multi-use trail extending from Moosup Center west to Plainfield's Central Village. The project also includes minor drainage improvements, minor landscaping, concrete sidewalks/curbing, crosswalks/curb ramps, pedestrian bridge and a mid-block crossing with Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) sub consultant goal is 6% of the total agreement value. The selected firm must meet all Municipal, State and Federal affirmative action and equal employment opportunity practices.
