Maplewood Richmond Heights School District Request for Proposals - Middle School/High School New Rock Climbing Wall The Maplewood Richmond Heights School District is currently seeking a company to provide a new Rock Climbing Wall at the Maplewood Richmond Heights Middle School/High School Campus located at 7500 Lohmeyer Ave, Maplewood, MO 63143. The work includes design and construction of a new rock-climbing structure to be located at the Middle School practice gym. The scope of work includes design and construction of a new rock-climbing structure to be located at the Middle School practice gym. The following is an anticipated Schedule Milestones for the project that will be confirmed with the awarded firm: The contractor shall provide product materials and labor for a complete turnkey installation for the climb wall. The work shall include the following: 1. Minimum four (4) climbing lanes 2. Approximately 550 square feet of surface terrain 3. Structure to be attached to existing building walls, floor and/or roof structure 4. Modular panelized system 5. Epoxy-based texture applied over minimum 3/4 inch engineered plywood substrate 6. Supported by steel framing system Provide first 6-8 feet to have minimum clearance (2-3 inches) from wall to accommodate existing overhead gym equipment. 8. Provide high density T-nuts (minimum two (2) per square foot) to allow for extensive route setting options 9. Load requirements are up to 15 pounds per square feet laterally and vertically 10.
