Remodeling and renovation of an educational facility in Roseburg, Oregon. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility; and for the renovation of a educational facility.
UCC is undertaking the remodel of the existing Community & Workforce Training Building located on the UCC campus. The existing building is estimated to have originally been built in 1966. The building is approximately 13,000 square-feet was originally designed for use as classrooms, a science laboratory, storage, and lecture room. Prior updates to the building include creating computer lab space, community workforce training rooms, and a multi-medium room. The project involves the remodel/renovation of current instructional and laboratory spaces, which includes project components listed below. This is not an all-inclusive list and should not be viewed as such. The project may contain unforeseen conditions. See Exhibit 1 Schematic Design Proposal. o Asbestos Abatement. An abatement study and survey will be provided by the College. o Removal of built-in cabinetry and desks. o Rewiring of electrical, lighting, data, and mechanical components, and information technologies. o HVAC additions and modifications. o Interior wall finishes. o Painting of all rooms. o Flooring work, to be determined. o Final project custodial cleaning Award Protest Period Ends 7 calendar days after Notice of Intent to Award All questions shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to the SPC uccbids contracts@umpqua.edu no later than deadlines specified in this RFP. If a Proposer is unclear about any information contained in this document or its Attachments they are urged to submit those questions for formal clarification. The email subject line should contain the Solicitation Number Name and Firm Name.
