Description

This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Springfield, Massachusetts. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

Bidding procedures are per Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L.) Chapter 149. Chapter 149 requires that the General Contractor be certified by the State Division of Capital Asset Management in the category Demolition. All questions regarding specifications must be submitted in writing, no later than January 22, 2025 by close of business. Questions must be submitted to the attention of the Chief Procurement Officer Email and/or Facsimile questions are accepted. All bidders are advised that the minimum wage rate schedule, issued by the Massachusetts Department of Labor and Standards and the Davis Bacon prevailing wages are included in the specifications and shall prevail in the work on this project. All bidders are advised the City has a 20% goal for MWBE participation. City is requesting bids for the demolition of abandoned properties throughout the City, the removal and disposal of all demolition/deconstruction materials and site debris, including any and all hazardous materials identified in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Project may be awarded to more than one Contractor. CPO reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to reject any or all responses, if in the public interest to do so.
