Spillway Park Improvements The principal items of work are approximate as follows 6 stall restroom building w/ covered sitting area (1,883 square feet), structural extension off existing warehouse building (+/- 5,440 square feet), full roof replacement on existing warehouse building (+/- 10,047 square feet), replacement of damaged metal wall paneling on existing warehouse, observation deck (+/-1,000 square feet), terrace (1,105 square feet), picnic pad (+/- 752 square feet), site grading, storm water, utilities, parking lot (77 vehicle spaces & 8 food truck stalls), landscaping, turf play area (+/- 6,935 square feet), hardscape, and concrete walking trail. Project shall be substantially completed within two hundred and twenty (220) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed issuance date. A certified check or Bid Bond payable to City of Prattville, Alabama in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00 must accompany each of the bidder's separate sealed proposal. Check or bid bond shall be provided as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within fourteen (14) days after notice of award of Contract to him. The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance bond and a 50% payment bond. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Alabama to act as surety. Contractors are required to apply for all permits (City of Prattville local permit fees will be waived).
