A certified check or bid bond payable without condition to the Village of Salem Lakes in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted a proper contract and bond will be executed and filed within ten (10) days after the acceptance of the bid.
