Site work and paving for a road / highway in Salem, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project consists of paving approximately 7200 square yards of asphaltic pavement and other miscellaneous items of work. Rejection of Bids. The Village Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. The work of this Pay Item consists of preparatory work and operations necessary for the movement of personnel, equipment, supplies, and incidentals to the work site; the establishment of facilities necessary for work on the Project; bonds, work trailers, initial insurance, engineering design, layout, fencing; and all other work or operations which must be performed or costs incurred when beginning work on the Project.
